Founders

Nick Williams
Founder, Shear Hope Collective

Nick Williams is the founder of Shear Hope Collective, a Minnesota-based nonprofit that provides free haircuts and grooming services to individuals experiencing homelessness, mental illness, or disability. A passionate barber and advocate for dignity and community care, Nick believes that a haircut can be more than just a service—it can be a turning point.

After seeing firsthand how a simple haircut could spark confidence, conversation, and even hope, Nick was moved to create a space where barbers and stylists could use their craft to give back in meaningful ways. What began as a few free cuts has grown into a movement grounded in compassion, human connection, and transformation.

Through Shear Hope Collective, Nick is building a network of professionals committed to restoring dignity, one haircut at a time.
